S L Kesarwani, born on 15 December 1941, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds an LL.B. in Law and a postgraduate degree in Ancient History. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Additional Commissioner, Joint Secretary, and Special Secretary Director. His most recent position was Managing Director in the Industries Department from 10 March 2000 to 31 December 2001.
