S Kishore, born on January 23, 1963, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1989 West Bengal cadre. He holds an M.B.A. in Business Administration and a Ph.D. in Management. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Project Director, Development Commissioner, and multiple tenures as Principal Secretary. His most recent role was Chairman of the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from February 9, 2022, to April 30, 2024. Kishore’s extensive experience spans administrative and executive positions, reflecting a long-standing commitment to public service in West Bengal.
