S Karuthiah Pandian, born on March 9, 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1993 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a graduate degree in law and a postgraduate degree in political science. Over his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Secretary, Additional Collector, Director, Managing Director, Special Secretary, Secretary, Principal Resident Commissioner, and Commissioner. His most recent position was Commissioner in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from December 8, 2011, to March 31, 2012.
