S K Varma, born on 26 September 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1965 Gujarat cadre. She holds a postgraduate degree in Political Science and a graduate degree in Philosophy. Over her career, she served in various capacities including District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Director, Additional Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, District Development Officer, Commissioner, Secretary, Administrator, Managing Director, and Additional Chief Secretary. Her most recent position was Chief Secretary to the Government at Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from 22 February to 2 March 2002.
