A graduate in Mechanical Engineering, he has held various key positions including Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Additional Chief Secretary of the Jails Department from 22 December 2016, and roles such as Secretary, Managing Director, Registrar, Director, Deputy Commissioner, Transport Commissioner, Executive Director, Joint Secretary, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Under Secretary, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate. His extensive administrative career reflects diverse responsibilities across multiple departments within the Punjab government.
