S Jayandhi, born on September 12, 1974, is a 2006 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds an M.Sc. and an M.B.A. Currently, he serves as the Special Secretary in the School Education Department at Chennai since February 3, 2023. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Special Secretary to Government, Additional Commissioner, Managing Director, Director, Chairperson Director, Joint Commissioner, and District Collector. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service with a focus on administrative leadership within Tamil Nadu.
