S J Munshaw, born on January 4, 1930, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1960 batch, Gujarat cadre. He holds a Graduate degree in Commerce, a Diploma in Public Administration, and a Postgraduate degree in Commerce. Throughout his career, Munshaw served in various capacities including Deputy Collector, District Collector, Deputy Secretary, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Director, Joint Commissioner, Chairman, Settlement Commissioner, and Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary in the Local Self Government Department, Gujarat, from April 1, 1987, to January 1, 1988.
