S Ghosh, born on January 24, 1934, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Economics, a postgraduate degree in Political Science, and a Diploma in Management. During his career, he served as District Collector and Magistrate from June 1, 1990, to January 1, 1992. He has also held positions as Joint Secretary, Director, and Additional Executive Officer. His most recent role was Director of Census Operations in the Land Revenue Department.
