S G Hegde, born on 25 February 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 Karnataka cadre. A graduate by education, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Additional Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner, Managing Director, and Director in multiple departments. His most recent position was Registrar at the Department of Co-Operative Societies, Bangalore, Karnataka, from 21 October 2010 to 28 February 2013. Throughout his career, he held significant administrative roles contributing to the governance and development of Karnataka state.
