S E Sekhara Babu, born on 15 April 1952, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1990 batch of the Andhra Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Secretary, Commissioner, Managing Director, Project Director, Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Secretary to Commissioner, Joint Collector, General Manager, Private Secretary, District Revenue Officer, Manager, and Deputy Collector. His most recent position was Secretary at the Information Commission Hyderabad from 14 June 2011 to 30 April 2012.
