S Chakraborty, born on April 1, 1935, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 batch, West Bengal cadre. During his career, he served in the Transport Department, holding the position of Director from July 1, 1991, to March 1, 1993. Prior to this, he was appointed as Director and Additional District Magistrate. His tenure in various administrative roles reflects his service within the West Bengal cadre.
