S C Rastogi, born on July 12, 1938, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree and a graduate degree in History. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Magistrate, Additional District Magistrate, Junior Scale officer, General Manager, Administrator, Joint Secretary, Director, and Special Secretary. His most recent position was Special Secretary at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, from August 1, 1994, to July 31, 1996, within the Department of Textiles.
