S C Kothari, born on 20 July 1936, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1975 Maharashtra cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Statistics and a graduate degree in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Inspector General, Additional Commissioner, Deputy Secretary, Managing Director, District Collector, CEO, Assistant Commissioner, Project Director, Deputy Director, District Supply Officer, and Sub-Divisional Officer. His most recent designation was Joint Secretary in the Finance Department of Maharashtra. Mr. Kothari’s extensive service reflects a diverse administrative experience within the state government.
