S B Singh, born on January 5, 1935, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 Punjab cadre. She holds graduate degrees in Economics and Law, along with a postgraduate degree in Economics. Throughout her career, she served in various capacities including Under Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Director, Managing Director, and multiple terms as Joint Secretary. Her most recent position was Joint Secretary in the Health and Family Welfare Department from July 1, 1992, to January 31, 1993. She was honored with the Prime Minister Award for her service.
