S Arun Prasad, born on 27 July 1985, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2011 batch, allocated to the West Bengal cadre. He holds a B.E. in Electronics from Anna University and an M.A. in Public Policy from Indira Gandhi National Open University, Delhi. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including District Magistrate, Chief Executive Officer, Additional District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, Assistant Collector and Magistrate. Since 30 September 2025, he has been serving as the Additional Chief Electoral Officer at West Bengal. He is proficient in English, Tamil, and Bengali.
