S Anser Ali, born on December 13, 1941, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Tamil Nadu cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Economics, a Certificate in Arabic, and a postgraduate degree in Law. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Commissioner, Director, Additional Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Special Officer, District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, Personal Assistant, and District Officer. His most recent position was Commissioner and Director in the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment from January 1, 2001, to December 31, 2001.
