S A Murugesan, born on June 1, 1978, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2005 batch, Uttarakhand cadre. He holds an M.Sc. in Plant Botany and Agriculture from IARI New Delhi and a B.Sc. in Agriculture from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. Currently, he serves as Internal F A at the Department of Atomic Energy, Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu (2022–2027) under the Ministry of Atomic Energy. His previous roles include Secretary, Managing Director, Administrator, District Magistrate, Additional Secretary, Vice Chairman, District Collector, Chief Development Officer, and Joint Magistrate. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
