Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Under Secretary (multiple terms), Joint Director, Settlement Officer, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Deputy Secretary in the General Administration Department (Personnel) of Madhya Pradesh, from 1 May 1989 to 1 November 1992.
