S A Faraqui, born on 13 November 1934, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1980 Madhya Pradesh cadre. He holds graduate degrees in English and Law, as well as a postgraduate degree in English. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Junior Scale, multiple terms as Under Secretary, Joint Director, Settlement Officer, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Deputy Secretary in the General Administration Department (Personnel) of Madhya Pradesh from May 1989 to November 1992.
