Rupinder Singh, born on December 3, 1971, is a 1996 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Maharashtra cadre. He holds a B.E. and M.A. from Punjab University, Chandigarh. Currently serving as Additional Secretary and Financial Advisor at the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi since December 3, 2024, Singh has held various positions including Deputy Director General, Director, Private Secretary, Deputy Secretary, District Collector, Chief Executive Officer, Assistant Collector, Resident Commissioner, and Principal Secretary. He is proficient in English, Hindi, and Punjabi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
