Rupesh Kumar Thakur, born on October 8, 1980, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2006 batch, assigned to the A G M U T cadre. He holds a B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. Currently, he serves as Secretary in the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Delhi, a position he assumed on February 16, 2026. His previous roles include Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Joint Secretary. Proficient in English and Hindi, Rupesh Kumar Thakur continues to contribute to public administration in his ongoing service.
