Dr. Rupesh Kumar, born on July 2, 1978, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2009 batch, Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds an M.B.B.S. degree and is proficient in English and Hindi. Throughout his career, he has served in various capacities including Sub Divisional Magistrate, Inspector General Director, Special Secretary, District Collector, Director, Chief Development Officer, and Managing Director. Currently, he is the Commissioner at Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, a position he has held since October 28, 2025. Dr. Kumar continues to serve in the IAS, contributing to the administration of Uttar Pradesh.
