Rupanjali Karthik, born on 20 February 1982, is a 2008 batch IAS officer of the Punjab cadre. She holds a B.A. Honours in Psychology and an LL.B. from Punjab University, and a Master’s in International Development from Duke University. Currently, she serves as Director at the Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, New Delhi (since 15 December 2023). Her past roles include Special Secretary, Additional Secretary, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Project Director (DRDA), Secretary, Additional Chief Administrator, Additional Commissioner, Sub Divisional Magistrate, and Assistant Commissioner (UT). She is proficient in English and Punjabi.
