Runu Ghosh, born on August 4, 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2001 batch, West Bengal cadre. She served in the IAS until her retirement, with her most recent designation being Additional Secretary from January 1, 2013, to August 31, 2019. Throughout her career, she contributed to the administrative framework of her cadre and held significant responsibilities in her capacity as an IAS officer.
