Ruchika Katyal, born on June 3, 1987, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2013 batch, AGMUT cadre. She holds an LL.B. in Administrative Law from CCS University, a B.Com Honours in Accountancy from Delhi University, and is a Chartered Accountant certified by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. Currently, she serves as Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, since September 21, 2025. Her previous roles include Special Secretary, Joint Secretary, Commissioner, Collector & District Magistrate, Deputy Commissioner, and Assistant Secretary. She is proficient in English and Hindi.
