Roopa Roshan Sahoo, an IAS officer of the 2006 batch from the Odisha cadre, was born on January 18, 1980. She holds a B.A. from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, and an M.A. and M.Phil. from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Currently, she serves as the Commissioner-cum-Secretary to the Hon'ble Governor of Odisha since July 23, 2025. Her previous roles include Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, Additional Secretary to the Chief Minister, Joint Secretary to the Chief Minister, District Collector and Magistrate, and Project Director. She is proficient in English and Oriya.
