Roopa Mishra, born on June 9, 1977, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 2004 Odisha cadre. She holds a B.Com and an MBA in Business Administration from Utkal University, Bhubaneswar. Currently, she serves as Joint Secretary in the Department of Urban Development, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, New Delhi (since August 24, 2021). Her previous roles include Director, Director (Factories), Chief Executive, Labour Commissioner, Managing Director, Mission Director, District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Secretary to Government, Sub Collector, and Secretary. She is proficient in English, Hindi, and Oriya.
