Rohit Nandan, born on January 27, 1957, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 Uttar Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.A. in English and a postgraduate degree in Modern Indian History. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Special Secretary Director. His most recent position was Secretary in the Department of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship from August 31, 2015, to January 31, 2017. He also held roles such as Chairman and Managing Director and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister during his tenure.
