Rohit Kumar, born on March 1, 1969, is a 1997 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. He holds a B.A. and M.A. in Mathematics from Delhi University. Currently serving as Additional Secretary at NITI Aayog, New Delhi since July 11, 2025, Rohit Kumar has held various positions including Joint Secretary, Secretary, Director, Deputy Secretary, State Project Director, District Collector and District Magistrate, Additional Commissioner, Additional Collector, Sub Divisional Officer, Assistant Collector, and Additional Secretary. He is proficient in Bengali, English, and Hindi. Rohit Kumar continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
