Rohit Kansal, born on 28 July 1969, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1995 batch, assigned to the A G M U T cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from IIM. Currently, he serves as the Additional Secretary in the Department of Textiles under the Ministry of Textiles, New Delhi, a position he has held since 5 December 2022. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, Rohit Kansal continues to contribute to the Indian administrative framework. He is currently in service.
