Currently, she serves as the Deputy Development Commissioner (DDC) at Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, a position she has held since January 1, 2026. Prior to this role, she worked as a Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO). Riya Singh continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service, contributing to the administration of Jharkhand.
