Ritesh Kumar Singh, born on 28 July 1973, is an Indian Administrative Service officer of the 1996 batch, Karnataka cadre. He holds a B.Tech. from IIT Kanpur and an M.P.A. from Harvard University. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary to Government, Department of Finance, Karnataka since 1 February 2025. His previous roles include Joint Secretary, Secretary, Managing Director, Director, Deputy Secretary, Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner, and Private Secretary. He has been awarded the Fulbright Masters Fellowship for Leadership Development and the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Programme at Harvard University. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
