Ritesh Chauhan, born on January 11, 1983, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2005 batch, Himachal Pradesh cadre. He holds a B.A. from Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla, and an M.A. from IGNOU, Delhi. Currently, he serves as Secretary at the Animal Husbandry Department, Himachal Pradesh, a position he assumed on December 3, 2024. His previous roles include CEO, Director, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sub Divisional Officer (C), Assistant Commissioner (Dev), and Assistant Commissioner. He has also served multiple terms as Personal Secretary to Ministers. He is proficient in English and Hindi.
