Rinchen Tempo, born on July 6, 1953, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 batch of the West Bengal cadre. She held various positions throughout her career, including District Magistrate, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary, Secretary, and Director. Her most recent role was Principal Secretary in the Mass Education Extension and Library Services Department, West Bengal, from September 14, 2011, to July 2, 2013. Rinchen Tempo holds a graduate degree in History, a postgraduate degree in English Literature, and a certificate in Journalism.
