Renuka Chidambaram, born on July 4, 1958, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1985 Karnataka cadre. She held various positions throughout her career, including Chief Executive Officer, Principal Secretary, Senior Political Affairs Officer, Director, Registrar, Additional Resident Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Commissioner, and Additional Development Commissioner. Her most recent role was Principal Secretary in the Public Enterprises Department, starting July 12, 2017. She holds a B.A. (Honours) in History and diplomas in French and German. Her extensive experience spans multiple administrative and leadership roles within the Indian government.
