Remya Mohan Moothadath, an IAS officer of the 2007 Gujarat cadre, was born on April 14, 1980. She currently serves as Commissioner of Municipalities Administration & Ex-officio Managing Director at Gujarat Urban Development Company Limited, Gandhinagar, since February 4, 2025. Her educational qualifications include a PG Diploma in Personnel Management and an MBA from Symbiosis, Pune. She has held various positions such as Joint Secretary, Mission Director, District Collector, District Magistrate, District Development Officer, and Assistant Collector. Remya has received the Kalam Innovation in Governance Award and multiple recognitions for outstanding performance in district administration. She is proficient in English, Gujarati, Hindi, and Malayalam.
