Special Chief Secretary To Government, Jails Department
Ravneet Kaur, a 1988 batch IAS officer of the Punjab cadre, served in various capacities throughout her career, including Special Chief Secretary to the Government from November 27, 2022, in the Jails Department. She holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Economics and Public Economics. Her extensive experience encompasses roles such as Additional Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary, Joint Secretary, Managing Director, and Deputy Commissioner, among others. She has been recognized with the ISAW Women Achiever Award and the 1991 Census Silver Medal. Ravneet Kaur is now retired from the Indian Administrative Service.
