Ravinder Singh Sandhu, born on November 7, 1948, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1982 batch, Punjab cadre. He holds graduate and postgraduate degrees in Civil Engineering. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Executive Engineer, Deputy Secretary, Director, Commissioner, Additional Secretary, Secretary, Principal Secretary, and Executive Director. His most recent position was Finance Commissioner in the Urban Development Department from September 3, 2007, to November 30, 2008. Sandhu’s extensive experience spans multiple administrative roles within the Punjab cadre during his tenure in the Indian Administrative Service.
