Ravi Manubhai Parmar, born on 29 November 1964, is a 1992 batch IAS officer of the Bihar cadre. He holds an M.A. in Public Policy and is proficient in English, Gujarati, and Hindi. Currently, he serves as the Additional Chief Secretary in the Mines and Geology Department at Patna since 7 June 2023. Throughout his career, he has held various positions including Chairman, Deputy Chairman, Secretary, Executive Director, Project Director, Additional Secretary, Transport Commissioner, Joint Development Commissioner, Private Secretary, District Collector and Magistrate, Deputy Commissioner, Deputy Development Commissioner, and Principal Secretary. He continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
