Ravi Kumar Arora, an IAS officer of the 2006 batch from the Gujarat cadre, was born on 24 September 1973. He holds a B.A. from Bhagalpur University and an M.A. in Public Policy from IGNOU New Delhi. Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, New Delhi (since 06/10/2022). His previous roles include Director, Private Secretary to Minister, District Collector, District Development Officer, Assistant Collector, and Supernumerary Assistant Collector. He has received awards such as Best District Collector for Navsari and Mahisagar districts and Best District Development Officer for Sabarkantha district. He is proficient in English, Gujarati, and Hindi
