Ravi Kota, born on April 12, 1966, is a 1993 batch Indian Administrative Service officer of the Assam Meghalaya cadre. Currently serving as the Chief Secretary at Assam since March 31, 2024, he is part of the Government of Assam. He holds a Ph.D. and is proficient in Assamese, Bengali, English, and Telugu. Throughout his ongoing service, Ravi Kota has contributed to the administrative framework of Assam.
