Ravi Kant, born on June 2, 1961, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1984 Bihar cadre. He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) and M.Sc. in Physics. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Sub-Divisional Officer, Deputy Secretary, Director, Additional Secretary, Joint Secretary, Principal Secretary, Special Secretary, Director General, Registrar, Managing Director, Deputy Development Commissioner, Administrator, and Secretary. His most recent position was Secretary in the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare from May 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021.
