Ravi Bhagat, born on 08/02/1977, is a 2006 batch IAS officer of the Punjab cadre. He holds a B.A. from GNDU Amritsar, an M.A. from JNU New Delhi, and an M.Sc. from King's College London. Currently, he serves as Special Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister in the CM office since 16/12/2021. His past roles include Chief Executive, Secretary, Special Secretary, Director, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and Sub-Divisional Magistrate. He has received awards such as the Gems of Digital India Award 2018, Best Electoral Practices Award, Swachhata Darpan Award, and the President Silver Medal for Census
