Rathindra N Kar, born on February 1, 1942, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1983 batch of the West Bengal cadre. He served in various capacities including Secretary, Labour Commissioner, Director, Joint Secretary, and Additional Executive Officer. His most recent position was Secretary in the Personnel and Administrative Reforms Department from December 15, 1999, to January 31, 2002. A graduate by education, Rathindra N Kar contributed to the administrative framework of West Bengal during his tenure.
