Rashmi Kamal, born on July 1, 1977, is an Indian Administrative Service officer from the 2006 batch, West Bengal cadre. She holds an M.B.B.S. from Patna University and a postgraduate degree from IGNOU Delhi. Currently, she serves as Director in the Department of Census Operations and Citizen Registration, West Bengal, since December 31, 2025. Her previous roles include Assistant Collector and Magistrate, Secretary, Director, District Magistrate, District Collector, Controller, Joint Secretary, Additional District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Officer, and Executive Magistrate. She is proficient in Bengali, English, and Hindi. Rashmi Kamal continues to serve in the IAS.
