Ranvir Singh Chauhan, born on June 6, 1970, is a 2009 batch Indian Administrative Service officer from the Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and has served in multiple capacities, including Commissioner, Project Director, Additional Secretary, Director General, District Collector, Director, and Mission Director. Currently, he is serving as the Secretary of the Drinking Water Department, Uttarakhand, a position he assumed on January 17, 2026. Chauhan continues to contribute to the state's administration with extensive experience across various administrative roles.
