Ranjit Singh, born on September 4, 1947, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1991 Punjab cadre. He holds a postgraduate degree in Political Science. Throughout his career, he served in various capacities including Director, Special Secretary, Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, Additional Secretary, Joint Development Commissioner, Additional Director, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Executive Director in the SC Welfare Department from August 24, 2007, to September 30, 2007. Singh’s extensive experience spans multiple leadership roles within the administrative framework of Punjab.
