Ranjit Kumar Ray, born on June 5, 1950, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1992 batch, West Bengal cadre. During his career, he held several key positions including Joint Secretary, Additional Deputy Collector, and served as Chief Commissioner of Land Administration and Special Chief Secretary in the Culture Department from December 8, 2008, to June 30, 2010.
