Ranjit Kumar Maity, born on 22 August 1950, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1994 batch, West Bengal cadre. He holds a graduate degree and has served in various capacities including Junior Scale, Additional District Magistrate, and Joint Secretary. His most recent position was Special Secretary in the Transport Department, from 1 January 2010 to 31 August 2010. Throughout his career, he contributed to the administrative framework of West Bengal before retiring from service.
