Ranjan Kumar, an IAS officer of the 2000 batch from the Uttar Pradesh cadre, was born on August 12, 1976. He holds a B.Tech. degree in Electrical Engineering. Currently, he serves as the Principal Secretary of the Ayush Department, Uttar Pradesh, a position he has held since September 16, 2025. Throughout his career, he has held various roles including Joint Magistrate, District Collector and Magistrate, Secretary to Government, Additional Project Director, Special Secretary, and Chief Development Commissioner. He is proficient in English and Hindi and continues to serve in the Indian Administrative Service.
