Ranbir Singh, born on March 23, 1959, is a retired Indian Administrative Service officer from the 1986 batch, Uttarakhand cadre. He holds a graduate degree in Medicine. Over his career, he served in various capacities including District Collector and Magistrate, Chief Development Officer, General Manager, Director, Joint Secretary, Special Secretary, Secretary, Commissioner, and Principal Secretary. His most recent position was Additional Chief Secretary in the Department of Animal Husbandry and Dairying from April 1, 2015, to March 31, 2019. Singh’s extensive administrative experience spans multiple senior roles across state government departments.
